A residential building in timber-frame construction combines sustainability, energy efficiency, and rapid execution. This three-storey building, featuring 16 modern apartments, was fully manufactured in just one month, with its assembly completed only a month later.
Timber construction – a solution for upgrading existing buildings
The building was designed as an extension of an existing solid-structure building. One of the key advantages of timber construction is its lightweight nature, which allowed for the addition of three extra floors without requiring complex foundation reinforcements. This approach opens up new possibilities for expanding existing structures, enabling fast installation and design flexibility—a crucial factor in modern urban environments. Additionally, timber construction is often the only viable solution in areas where traditional building methods are limited by structural constraints.
Advanced timber construction for enhanced safety and comfort
The project incorporates an innovative combination of timber construction systems, including frame-panel technology, massive CLT panels, and nailed roof trusses. This combination ensures high structural stability while enabling fast and efficient construction. Wooden structures also contribute to enhanced earthquake resistance, as they are associated with lower inertial forces than conventional buildings, reducing seismic loads and improving overall safety.

The apartments in this building provide an exceptional standard of living comfort.
